  • Art Exhibition and Auction May 18th

    Art 4 Veterans Herefordshire are exhibiting and auctioning works created by veterans.
    Kindly hosted at Casa Lupo Restaurant in Peterchurch on May 18th from 6 – 8pm
    Tickets £5, available at the Bar from 6pm,  include nibbles and a raffle.

  • Smallholding & Countryside Festival May 21st – 22nd

    Held on the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells.
    The weekend-long event is a showcase of the real diversity of the Welsh countryside and a fantastic day out for young families, garden enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in the great outdoors. With a full packed programme of livestock and equine competitions, over 200 tradestands, displays and activities, excellent food and drink – there is something for everyone to enjoy.

  • Bredwardine Races May 21st

    Point to Point Steeplechase at Weston Farm, Bredwardine on May 21st.
    First Race at 2pm. Admission £15 per person. Under 16 free.
    Trade stands, Bookmakers and licensed bar/refreshments.
    This unique natural grandstand is a great viewing point.

    Held in Hay School Car Park in Oxford Road Main Car Park.
    Organised by the PTFA
    Buyers 10am to 1pm
    Note: You can book a car parking space with the PTFA whilst you attend Hay Festival of Literature.

  • Concerts for Craswell May 28th

    Piano Quartet in Dore Abbey, Abbeydore Herefordshire. May 28th at 7pm
    Concerts for Craswall was formed with the aim of bringing the highest standard of musical performance to this area of south west Herefordshire. Our choral and chamber music concerts take place between March and October each year.

  • Hay Festival 2022 May 26th – June 5th

    The Hay Festival brings writers and readers together in conversations here and around the world. For 11 days a year many thousands of people come from all over the UK, Europe, America and the rest of the world to join a carnival celebration of ideas and stories.

    We’re delighted to launch our programme for the Festival’s 34th spring edition, broadcasting for free online from Hay-on-Wye to the world.

  • Hay Town Jubilee Celebrations June 2nd – 4th

    Hay town council invites you to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, starting with the Town Crier’s proclamation at 2pm in the Market Place. Food and entertainment 7pm – 9.45pm and lighting The Beacon. Family Fun day on June 3rd at the recreation ground. June 4th, historic events walking parade and community picnic.

  • Abergavenny Steam Rally June 3rd – 4th

    Held in Abergavenny in The Park
    This two day event offers something for the whole family. As well as the mighty giants of steam and vintage vehicles, the show has a children’s funfair, a food village, rural crafts and handicrafts and a wealth of stands selling everything from auto jumble to garden plants and a lot of other stuff in-between.

  • The Mill Restaurant Jubilee Celebration June 4th

    The Mill restaurant at Poston Mill are celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee on June 4th with Live music from 6,30pm
    A new Hereford band, ‘Delta Soul’ will be playing Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues and other music for the evening.
    Wood fired Pizza’s will be available along with some special offers on Gin and if you would like to come in fancy dress even better.

  • Golden Valley Vintage Fair June 11th

    Join us for a full day of entertainment at Golden Valley Vintage and Country Fair. You will find exhibitors with classic cars, stationary engines, vintage tractors and motorbikes. Melissa Hollick will be performing live ‘vintage’ favourites throughout the day. Cart rides, farm animals, country pursuits and a range of country stalls selling products and crafts, with lots of fantastic food and drink to enjoy.

  • Three Choirs Festival Hereford July 23 – 30th 2022

    The 2022 Hereford Three Choirs Festival will take place from 23 – 30 July.

    This year will see a re-styled festival village in the Cathedral Close.
    The festival is a must for music lovers of all ages.

  • Kington Show September 10th

    Kington Show is one of the largest one-day agricultural shows in the country. Open 9 – 6pm.
    We also expect to have over 100 outdoor trade stands, a busy Food & Craft marquee and a wide variety of catering options including a licensed public bar.
