Award Winning Park

We are proud to be part of the David Bellamy Award scheme and have acheived Gold awards for over 12 years.

When changes on The Park are essential we always incorporate careful planting of shrubs and trees both adding privacy for customers and habitat for wildlife, our latest plantings have included wild flower areas in unused areas of the Pitch & Putt and the dog walking/football field.

The facilities on The Park help reduce our carbon footprint with good insulation, thermostatically controlled heating, temperature restrictions and push top taps. Lighting in the facilities block only comes on when a person enters the room. Rain fall is managed with good drainage to reduce the risk of flooding and water butts for recycling where appropriate.

The large open spaces we have around The Park of course need mowing and this along with garden waste is carefully composted and masked from general view, but this quiet environment created an exciting feeding ground of grubs and flies for our bird families. All our customers are encouraged to be a part of our Conservation and along with bird feeders and nesting boxes they are kept up to date with where new dipper and bat boxes have been located through notice boards around the park.

As a member of the British Holiday Home Parks Association our standards are guided by their legislation. We are also members of the Best of British, a group of parks which maintain a high quality of standards.
We are a Visit England 5 Star graded park.

Situated on the West of Herefordshire alongside the Welsh border and ideally suited for exploring the Marches. You can visit a huge selection of historical sites some within walking distance of The Park.

Alongside reception is an information and inspiration room with leaflets about local attractions, maps for local walks, menus for local restaurants.
Leaflets for hiring cycles or for horse riding in the area and local swimming baths, golf courses and alternative fishing to our own River Dore.
